Facilities
Several facilities are used to conduct the CRACKHINIT project. You can find a description below:
Electrochemical permeation test
The permeation test is used for H charging from an elecrochemical reaction.
Thermal desorption spectroscopy
The thermal desoprtion spectroscopy apparatus is used to measure the H concentration in the sample.
Mechanical tests
Mechanical tests are conducted on a fatigue micro-machine of 5kN.
Computing facilities
Computing facilities in LaSIE include a small cluster of 96 mpi processors and 4000 GPU cores. Additional calculations are conducted in the Thor mesocentre of the New Aquitain region.
